We had a fab stay at Brian's place for a family catchup. From the start to end Brian's communication was clear, informative and helpful. The house itself was exactly what we all needed, with full amenities, super clean, recently renovated, a flat easy walk into town and backing onto the creek was an added bonus. We made full use of the Sup's and kayaks, the bbq and bar area and our dog loved the large garden to run and play in. I highly recommend choosing to stay at Brian's place when visiting Crescent Head.

Brian’s property is tucked just around the corner from the lagoon making it close enough to swim on the main beach or far enough to have complete privacy and the creek front to yourself. The walk through the creek to the beachfront simple adds to the joy of the experience. The kids were able to paddle board, kayak and fish in the creek 24/7 whilst we watched them from the deck. A short kayak up the creek provided the ideal training location for the serious swimmers whilst the others snorkelled nearby. I think the biggest indication of how great this property is was our kids repeat refusals to leave to spend time with their friends. The entire family loved Brian’s place and we will absolutely be back!

Brian’s place is an absolute gem! Perfect spot, walking distance to town, and an easy stand up across the creek to the beach. His place had everything you could think off, and made for such an amazing week, one of the best air bnbs we have stayed in!

We had a great experience staying at Backdoor. Perfectly located on the creek, it was an easy walk to the beach and local cafes and restaurants. The provision of kayaks and paddle boards were fun for the family. The house had everything we needed for our two week stay. Brian was a friendly and very responsive host, he responded quickly to any minor issues (even after hrs). A good stay for families and pets.
