Karin's cozy pine wood paneled cottage was the perfect place for us and our 2 pups. The fenced backyard was a real plus. It is nestled in a quiet wooded neighborhood within walking distance of Nubble Lighthouse and the beaches. We enjoyed morning coffee and happy hour on the deck (which has handy baby gates at both ends). There were plenty of good restaurants within a 5 minute drive. Our favorite breakfast joint was Molly O's. We enjoyed dinner at Sun and Surf on Long Sands; the sea scallops are amazing. Perkins Cove, Wells, Kittery, and Portsmouth are about a 15-20 min drive. Don't miss taking an easy walk on the Marginal Way; it's mostly flat with gorgeous ocean views from the rocky cliffs of Ogunquit. We would not hesitate to return and heartily recommend Karin's cottage to couples, including those with children and/or dogs.

We absolutely love this place! So happy we could return this year after first spending a week here in 2021. The house is in the best location - equidistant walks to the lighthouse and both beaches - but it's so private which is rare for the area. The trees surrounding the house are so peaceful and it's nice and quiet. The house itself is perfect for our young family and dogs. The fenced in yard is a dream for dog owners and the wrap around deck and patio space is great too.

Staying at 65 Nicole Rd was exactly what you need when you stay in York. It’s perfect for a family and the dogs! Having the fenced in yard and large deck makes it easy for the dogs to have some exercise and allows you to relax while watching them. It’s private but close to all the action. The walk in the morning to Nubble Light is breathtaking- the sunrise is so worth it! Had 3 deer in the front yard that greeted us one morning. The kitchen is well stocked. Central air is amazing. The new coffee bar is so cute! The one slight flaw would be the mattresses. They are not the most comfortable but certainly not horrible. We’ve stayed two years in a row and will be booking next summer soon! Karin is a great host- she is quick to respond to questions and made the entire process so easy!
