The Caravan was as described as back to basics. It Just saves you putting up a tent if you want a night away. The caravan was not clean it was very dusty and cobwebs round each window. To reach the caravan you have to move the horse fence while the horse was in it to be able to get your car through the field. On leaving the horse was following me while I was opening the horse fence when I opened it the horse bolted through the gate, Sue advised beforehand that the horse would mind it’s own business but he must of had morning zoomies . Sue was luckily there to grab the horse. You then drive through another field where the caravan is on the other side in its own fenced in field. The caravan is well priced you pay for what you get. I would Take all the same items you would if you was to go camping as the caravan is just a roof over your head.

Really enjoy my stay here… perfect getaway from the stress of city life … beautiful surroundings and a fantastic place to visit.. I also got to try tried tai chi for the first time, and really enjoyed it.. I hope I come back sometime in the future … as I feel there are many more things I can learn about and benefit from by visiting on-site wellness center …

I loved my stay in Sue's caravan, it's basic but it's beautiful to switch off and be immersed in the nature around you. Sue provides water and there is an eco toilet nearby. The caravan is by itself in the far corner of the field, I was a little apprehensive as to how isolated the caravan was going to be, but you aren't totally isolated. (Just incase you are a bit nervous travelling along) You are far away enough from what I gather is Sue's home for privacy, yet not too far away if you did need help. I would definitely stay here again, a lovely spot to sit around a campfire and do some stargazing!

Thank you for a lovely stay. This is like camping - but with your own completely private area. This includes a cosy caravan to sleep in and a fire pit to keep warm under the stars. We had a great night sleep - peaceful and comfy. 9 hours sleep - lovely! Our dog enjoyed the open space and we felt like we could let her roam in our private space - which she loved! It's a peaceful and lovely area with small villages a walk or short drive away. Picture limestone homes and buildings - very nice. A couple of country pubs nearby too (e.g. The Olive Branch). As we did, my advice for anyone staying here is to bring everything with you that you'd normally pack for camping (e.g. firewood, camping chairs, bedding, torches and cooking utensils). If we were to stay again, we'd like to stay longer to explore the area more and do more walking with the dog!
