The Caroline is a beautifully preserved colonial house nestled in the heart of Lockhart, Texas. Built by famed architect T.S. Hodges in 1910, The Caroline was recently renovated with all new furnishings including an industrial catering kitchen complete with Viking appliances, an in-ground heated pool with fountain feature, and an expansive, dreamy, screened-in porch. Prepare to be treated with the ultimate in southern hospitality. We aim to please with exceptional quality & comfort around every corner. The mansion’s common areas are located downstairs to conveniently accommodate your group gathering. The 4 guest rooms are located upstairs on the 2nd and 3rd floors, comfortably separate from the entertaining areas. Each of these rooms is unique, luxurious, and comfortable. We consider our Caroline House to be top-notch in overnight accommodations!

My first time EVER getting an Airbnb and I couldn’t have had a better experience. The Caroline is stunning! Location is prime, the home is beautiful all around along with the extra space use. Tamara was incredibly helpful and fantastic with all my questions, and assuring we were comfortable. Best place to stay, if you’re ever in Lockhart.

The Caroline was BEAUTIFUL and such an amazing location. I can't wait to stay here again! Tamara has decorated this gorgeous, huge space with beautiful local Texas art. They even had the listing decorated for the holidays! The pictures don't capture how well setup the space is for a group. We were so comfortable, and we had a fantastic time!
