The lighthouse foghorn is so loud. It made it really hard to sleep. It goes off every 5-10 minutes. I had earplugs and i could still hear it.
A simple camp site that offers the moon and the stars... After searching for the perfect space to take in the Perseid's peaking, Campsite #2 came up. Situated on the south shore, this simple ocean front campsite offers stunning views of the Atlantic coastline. You could easily spend the entire day exploring, or beach side with a book. When night fell, I had the chance to take incredible images of the Milky Way rising over the ocean, which was followed by a sky of sparkling stars and 30+/- meteors soaring overhead. The space was incredibly quiet, the returning sound of the water crashing on the large rocks provided the perfect rhythm for restorative rest. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and the space was exactly as described. This experience was everything I had hoped for in a solo camping trip. Five/Five for camping in the south shore!
