A spacious and authentic property in the quiet village of Bourdeiles close to the historic Chateau. A short drive to many attractions in the area. The garden was a disappointment when we stayed as it could be lovely, the bushes and tree were very overgrown and uninviting and unlike the photos on Airbnb - the tree and bushes need trimming back and also spoil the view from the balcony. All the garden furniture was dirty and most of the loungers were broken and unsafe to sit on. The garden is not secure for a dog and the river flows quite fast at the bottom of the garden. Future guests should be aware that the property address provided by Airbnb was wrong, when we put this into our satnav it took us to a village 5 miles away. The host was not contactable through the messaging system on AirBnB or the phone number on AirBnB. There are alternate email and phone details within the description and these should be used instead - quite confusing if you are a regular AirBnB users as we are.

Très beau gîte, incroyablement situé entre le Château de Bourdeilles et la Dronne! Très propre et confortable. Nous avons passé un excellent week-end! On reviendra !

Charmante maison au bord de la rivière, dans un cadre bucolique, propice à la déconnexion. Très bien situé au cœur de la commune de Bourdeilles et de son magnifique chateau, proche de Brantome la Venise du Périgord et de nombreux autres sites. Le logement est très bien équipé et au calme !
