Wow this was an amazing airbnb! I stayed here for a month for a rotation at a nearby hospital, and found the place to be super cozy, stylish, and clean. I found the communication with Hannah and her team to be seamless, and she was available for anything I needed at anytime of the day or night (she lives in the building). I loved that I could control my own heat and AC as this unit has its own mini-split heating system. Parking on the street is super easy, it is close to West Philly restaurants and shops, and it was fun to walk around the park that is directly in front of the building. There is also an area to chill out outside in the backyard that just this unit really uses. I plan to stay here again when I’m back in Philly, and just recommended to my sister who is planning a trip to Philly. Highly recommended to other guests!

While the apartment has its merits, the listing misrepresented its independent A/C (which I specifically looked for, due to my eczema), leading me to cancel my stay early. The A/C is linked to another unit, requiring coordination with another tenant for setting temperatures. Poor ventilation worsened the situation, causing sleepless nights due to skin flare-ups and a room temperature that reached 80 degrees. Hannah questioned my temperature readings but did not verify them. Hannah's inconsistent guidelines made coordination confusing. Despite the manual suggesting tenant cooperation, she told me not to contact the neighboring unit, citing privacy. She did attempt to coordinate with the other tenant but they were unavailable to change settings. Her offer to install a window A/C unit, didn't address my concerns about noise, privacy, and safety (the unit faces a public walkway). Ultimately, she said it was best for me to leave due to coordination difficulties with the other tenant.

I stayed here for a few months while working in Philly and had a wonderful experience. The apartment is cozy and quiet and the hosts were very responsive. I would highly recommend this airbnb for short or long term stays!

I had a great time staying at this place. Super cozy and love the Roku tv. If I’m ever back in Philly this place would be my first pick.

I enjoyed my month-long stay in the apartment. I was working remotely and the quiet neighborhood and reliable internet was ideal. The place was stocked with great amenities and conveniently located near restaurants and cafes. I had my car but the bus/street car are close by and the closest train/trolley is a short walk. Being on the West side of the city, I was able to get to the South side in 20 minutes and the North in about 30. I did wish that there were more grocery options but the local co-op was convenient and stocked well. If in Philly in the future , I’d stay there again.
