Wow!! Where do I start. From the moment we first pulled up we knew it was going to be special, and it certainly didn’t disappoint. The cottage was cosy and comforting, just loved everything about it. I can’t stress enough how unique and special this experience was for us city folk. The middle of nowhere!! No reception, totally unplugged, surrounded by mountains, free roaming sheep and cows. Total peace and quiet. We swam in the stunning creek, read by the fire, toasted marshmallows in the outside fire pit, slept in the coziest beds EVER. Can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend.

What a great place to base ourselves for our intended stay. 5 friends, all on large Adventure motorcycles intending to ride out each day and explore the New England area over 4 days! Arriving a bit later than planned was not an issue when you can walk into a great little farm house, light an already loaded wood fire and have such a well stocked kitchen that if you hadn't had a chance to grab something from a town, ( an hr in any direction) was great. Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, bbq and fire pit all got put to good use. It was nice to see and talk to family members as they went about running the farm and making sure we had plenty of firewood or anything needed! Highly recommend.

Very lovely house situated on a lovely rural setting. If you want peace and quiet, this is the place to go too. House is very nicely presented and Emily is great at keeping contact with us. Just a note for other people, do be prepared for long drive on gravel, dirt road. It’s a great way to see the countryside tho.

It was a great spot to relax. The locals are lovely and always happy to point out the history of the town. The cottage has great supplies. There are lots of animals and beautiful scenery. It was easy to book and our hosts were just lovely. We had a great trip!
