Great place to stay. Walking distance to restaurants, grocery store and skiing. Would stay here again.

The location is excellent - especially if you’re going skiing. Walkable to grocery, shopping and food. The room is great for two people. It can get tight for four adults, but was fine. Heater worked great and they provide a little one for bathroom under the sink. Hot water was also a thumbs up. The kitchenette was fine. Appreciated the hot plate and water kettle as we took instant oats and ramen. Overall we had a good stay. We had four people and needed a pillow and towels - which we got after a couple nights(we stayed 4 nights so half our stay). The checkin instructions are buried in the details - as are the checkout, so be sure you look for them or you might be worried that you have no where to stay. We got our code from the lodge at noon the day of check in (at 3pm). FYI Lodge, not host, was also who texted us back about the pillow and towels. Red River is quaint and friendly. This place is a value for four people comparatively speaking.

Very close to the ski area. Our inexpensive walkie talkies reached the room from halfway up the mountain. Has just enough convenience with the single pot cooking surface, sink, and small fridge/freezer. May be a bit small for some families of 4, but we did fine with our two young kids.

The location was amazing! We could walk to the slopes, shops, restaurants, and rental shops. The pond was right across from the room, so it was a peaceful place to sit. It was also right next to the hot tub area, which was much appreciated after a long day of skiing. We didn’t have instructions for things, like how to get into the hot tub or what to do before we left, but they responded quickly when we had questions. I would recommend bringing a fold up table or something like that, as there’s not a table provided. Capos had great pizza, there’s a cute winery within walking distance, and we had a blast snowmobiling with Bobcat Pass Wilderness Adventures. We will be back!
