Karamoja Safari Camp is a Ugandan-Dutch family-run tented accommodation in Moroto town. It is located in the beating heart of the Karamoja region at the slopes of Mount Moroto (3085m). A central location that serves perfectly as base for an off-the-beaten-path adventure in Uganda. We are also a sustainable awarded community tour operator and offer authentic cultural experiences and outdoor adventures (hiking, trekking, biking) guided by out team of experienced local guides. The Safari Camp design is a blend of traditional customs and local materials with a modern touch. A unique experience of heritage, comfort and hospitality during a safari through Uganda’s untouched northeast. The camp has 7 spacious safari tents with extra long (210cm/6’7ft) king-size and single beds, a private veranda, solar heated showers, solar electricity to charge equipment, flushing toilet and washing basin.
