My wish list for summer 2021 included staying in a yurt. All my dreams came true at Rockhill Park in the Lotus Belle Tent. I planned a trip with my niece and loved it so much that I returned with my sisters a couple of weeks later. The Lotus Belle tent is adorably decorated. Denise and Brooke went out of their way to personalize each of my stays, which was super thoughtful. *The bed and bedding are super comfortable *Teas, coffee supplied and appreciated *Fresh flowers were beautiful *The cutting board, Keurig coffee machine, Kettle, microwave, small fridge, fans were all there for our comfort. The washrooms are super clean, and the showers were great—no problem with hot water. There was lots of kidling and wood for fires and great chairs to enjoy them in. We hiked and enjoyed the entire property. However, our favorite part of our time was spent in the pond. I brought a giant inflatable tube, and we spent hours floating around and soaking up the sun every day! I am still in awe that we had this gorgeous property to ourselves. It was so serene at night, even during a couple of nights of thunderstorms. This past weekend was the first time that my sisters and I spent time together without children, and it was perfect in every way. Denise even extended our check-out time so we could get more out of time together. We hope to return year after year to Rockhill Park. I can only imagine that hidden gem will be known in no time, so I best reserve soon! Thank you so much, Denise and Brook, for giving us the perfect space to make memories.

Urteriffic! What a cool spot. Great for a romantic time away. The property is beautiful. Very unique experience with all of the comforts needed for a really comfortable getaway.

A great way to camp without having to do all the work. And there are only a few other people on the property, so it’s a great secluded space. The tent is beautiful and very comfortable to sleep in. Bonus, they provide a fan to keep you cool on hot summer nights. They also provide a mini fridge and microwave that come in handy. Remember this is still camping at the end of the day. You’ll need a cooler for most of your food and remember dishes. The grounds themselves are beautiful and so peaceful. Bring a floatie to enjoy the pond. The sauna takes work (you have to build the fire) and it so worth it. The campfire was my favourite part. They provide everything needed for that. It was so amazing to stare at the pond and stars while the fire burned. Would highly recommend this place for a quick get away from the city and for people who like the idea of camping but not all the work. We also went to Champ Burger and it was delicious

One of the most memorable camping experiences ever and I can’t recommend Rockhill Park enough! My boyfriend and I booked this stay to celebrate my birthday and it felt like a private getaway, we got to enjoy the beautiful lake and beach to ourselves. The campground was exceptionally clean, spacious and equipped with enough activities for the whole weekend. Our favourite was the cedar sauna, paddleboat and hiking trails nearby. Skies were so clear at night we were able to stargaze while making smores by the campfire (wood & fire starting kit provided). Still obsessed with how dreamy and beautifully decorated the belle tent was! Denise was a one of a kind host, great communication and went out of her way to personalize the tent for us. She provided us with a detailed map of the campsite and a packing list to prepare us for the stay and even gave us a heater and electric blanket to combat the chilly weather at night.

My partner and I had the BEST time staying at the Lotus Belle Tent at Rockhill Park. Denise was an amazing host wanting you to have the best stay possible and it shows with all the little extra details that made the tent magical. The tent was super cute and clean with a comfy bed for a good night's rest after all the fresh air. We enjoyed the full glamping experience taking up all the property has to offer including hikes through the grounds/bruce trail, swimming and relaxing by the pond, cooking by the fire, and enjoying the peacefulness of the outdoors. The campsite the tent is on is very spacious and distant from other sites and very close to the washroom facilities. It felt like we had the whole massive property to ourselves it was very quiet and private. We have stayed in numerous summer cottage/cabins rentals in the past and this year was one of our most favourite trips as the property has everything you would need to enjoy a summer vacation away from the city. Would definitely recommend and stay again!!
