We enjoyed your beach front home thoroughly … Beautiful dwelling … Amazing location … And a brilliant view. The home amenities made you feel at home, and the porch made you feel a touch of paradise. Thank you for allowing us some time to enjoy Mother Nature at its finest.

This place was great! Just as advertised. Perfect space for four adults and six kids. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to prepare large meals and more. The house is clean and perfectly located to watch the beach from the back porch with ample seating for everyone. My only knock on the place is the beach itself, but I will admit that our stay coincided with Spring Break. There is a steady stream of vehicles driving up and down the beach playing loud music and displaying sometimes inappropriate flags. I would prefer a quieter beach. Having said that, I will add that the nighttime beach activity did not affect our sleep at all. All in all this is a great place with a great host. It is conveniently located to our grandkids so we would visit again.

We have spent 30 years vacationing in Bolivar. Southern Wave is our absolute favorite place!

This was not our first visit to the Southern Wave and it completely lived up to our expectations. At mid-winter, we love to sit outside and watch the waves and the beach. The deck has a variety of seating - one day we sat in the sun in short sleeves and a few days later we enjoyed protection from the chill wind closer to the house. There’s a gate across the stairs that kept our dogs from wandering down unsupervised while we lounged outside. The yard is securely fenced and has plenty of space for the dogs to romp. The house is comfortable and cozy in chilly temperatures. The decor is peaceful and interesting and there’s quite a stock of movies and games for inclement days. We easily logged into our own streaming services to watch a few things on TV. The kitchen is well stocked and we found everything we needed to make a few meals there. Monica is super responsive to messages but everything worked fine and we had no issues. We’re so happy that we could return for another winter getaway!

A home away from home. Easy access to the beach through the yard or on the street. My family was able to watch beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the porch. The kitchen was stocked with anything you could possibly need throughout the entire stay which made mealtime more about us. Would definitely recommend Monica’s home.
