Welcome to Blaisdell Lake Lodge, a tranquil getaway in the famous Wisconsin Northwoods. Perfect place for a fishing trip, family time, ladies getaway or just relaxing in seclusion. Here you will find many activities ranging from reading on the pier to fishing for the world famous musky to kayaking down the Chippewa River. Located only 40 mins away from Hayward where you can attend a World Championship Lumberjack show, visit the Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame or tempt lady luck at the Casino! Sleeping Spaces: - Master Bedroom with King size bed, attached spa bathroom with a full shower with 6 body sprays and rainhead, jacuzzi bathtub with both therapeutic jets and relaxing bubbles, and heated floors. - One bedroom with Full sized bed on the first floor. - One bedroom on lower level with new Nectar queen size luxury foam mattress. - The lower level also has a bathroom with a shower, jacuzzi bathtub, and heated floors. - A half-bath is located on the first floor. - A loft with a rustic futon which can also double as a queen bed. - The Obnoxiously Comfortable Couch in the living room. Living Spaces: - Large living room with floor to ceiling windows with a great view of the lake and enjoy the fireplace or spending time with your family - 2nd floor loft overlooking living room which is a great space for reading or relaxing on the futon which also can be turned into queen sized bed - Fully-furnished kitchen - All new appliances including gas stove with double ovens, dishwasher, microwave, warming drawer, motion-sensing sink with filtered water, coffee pot, and mini Keurig machine. - Cups, plates, bowls, utensils, and basic cookware provided. - Granite counter-tops with breakfast bar and stools. - Dining room with views of the lake and table to seat up to 6 - Walk-out lower level with luxury vinyl plank floor which is perfect spot to drop off the outdoor toys with no worries. Also extra space for playing board games. Extras: - Central air-conditioning and a whole house fan. - Instagrammable decor and picture window. - WIFI and HD Satellite TV with DVD player - Gas fireplace - Gas grill for cooking. - Screened-in porch with L shaped couch and fire table. - 66’ Dock with electric and enough room to sit and read AND fish off of- simultaneously! - 10’ plastic Jon boat, two kayaks or paddle board can be yours to use while on the lake, but please provide your own life jackets. - Bedding and kitchen towels are provided, please bring your own bath and beach towels.

Peaceful location and lots wildlife to admire. We had fun fishing and had a very nice northern pike on my line from the DOCK! House was very clean

Mark’s house was beautiful. It was well furnished. The lake view was beautiful and it was quiet and secluded. Most of the time we felt like we had the lake to ourselves. Mark was responsive and helpful with local restaurant and sightseeing suggestions. The Wisconsin Northwoods never disappoints and Mark’s house adds to the enjoyment.

What a secluded and restful retreat for my family and friends. We spent a week recharging our souls at this gem of a getaway. Mark is easily the best communicator I've ever had the joy of working with, which is a big deal when you're planning a vacation! We slept in, enjoyed home-cooked meals in the full kitchen, enjoyed rainy evenings roasting marshmallows and singing around the fire table on the screened-in porch, lavished ourselves with luxurious showers/baths in the swanky master bath, spent hours out on the lake kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, fishing and just taking in all the gorgeous scenery the area had to offer. I would absolutely recommend this incredible spot to anyone for a wonderful family or couples retreat for ages!

Gorgeous, clean, well-provided home on a wild, quiet lake. The loudest sounds were the frog chorus that would start up at dusk every night. The beds were comfy, clean, and the bathrooms were lovely. We are a family that cooks together and Mark's kitchen was up to our lofty standards. Air conditioning periodically helped dry out the humidity from several days of rain. I'm a swimmer and had to adjust to the dark water (from Tamarack tannin) and taking an SUP out to the middle channel where you can swim. But it all worked out. All in all a sweet place on a quiet, wild lake. If you're into town things, I'd say look elsewhere. This place is best for folks who love solitude v. partying, Mother Nature v. human shenanigans, and can make their own fun without constant cell signal or the internet. Cell signal was spotty and the internet, although 5G, was slow to load. Not Mark's fault, but courtesy of Mother Nature's wilderness.

A great and secluded getaway spot. Getting there takes a little doing, but the house and lake view were well worth it. Mark was also great about quick responses and helping us with information about the area.

Spend your time enjoying the lake, the screened-in porch, and the fire-table. Witness the wildlife as they walk or fly by. Go fishing on the lake and see if you can catch the Legendary Musky. If you’re not as lucky, you could catch a variety of fish species including Musky, Northern Pike, Small and Largemouth Bass, Walleye, and Panfish. There is a nearby public boat launch, so bring your motorboat on the lake to explore all 341 acres. The lake is excellent for boating, fishing or just floating in a raft. If you like a challenge bring a rowboat and try rowing around the lake! Uninterested in fishing? Want something to do while your partners go fishing? Take a hike at nearby Flambeau River State forest or the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest!
After your full day of fishing and exploring the nearby woods, come home to a cool shower or warm jacuzzi bath. After cooking dinner in the kitchen or grilling outside, enjoy a mosquito-free night on the screened-in porch around the gas fire-table.
Deer usually stroll through the property daily, if you bring your own feed corn they will stop to eat and pose for pictures
Take your pack on an adventure. After practicing your fishing on Blaisdell Lake, travel 20 minutes to the Chippewa Flowage for an outstanding fishing and boating experience. Visit the nearby town of Hayward for the Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame, Wilderness Walk Zoo, or Out of the Woods Winery. Stroll downtown to enjoy the shopping or attend a lumberjack competition!
