Great location and very convenient!

The location is great but upon arrival we noticed a terrible smell coming from the shower and making the entire apartment smell. On top of that there were small bugs (we thought maybe fruit flies) everywhere, covering the kitchen counter, bed sheets, shower and toilet areas. We thought there may have been a dead animal somewhere inside the apartment or building and upon reporting this to the host we received no response.

We stayed here for 2 nights, it was a great experience. The location is right in Shibuya, the subway station is a 5-10 min walk away. The apartment is a 3 min walk away from the main road, so at night time it is peaceful and neighbors were quiet. Plenty of good places to eat nearby, and convenience stores with everything you need. The best part of this unit was the host's well-written manual they sent us before arriving to the unit. They gave a 35 page guide in English, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese with clear instructions on how to find the apartment and get in with photos for each step, and translations for all the controllers in the apartment. The photos are accurate, but the apartment is pretty small, the floorplan is helpful to understand the size, it is adequate for 2 adults. I wanted to see what a typical Tokyo apartment was like, so it was perfect for me. I would definitely come here again!

This place was just what we needed, especially for my boyfriend's first trip to Japan. Lots of small restaurants and bars, and a couple of Family Marts close by for super late night or early morning grocery runs. Shibuya109 is right down the street and the JR Shibuya station is a few minutes of a walk after that. We'd love to stay here again for the ease of finding things to do. A big plus other than the location of this place was definitely the washer. We were using it every day. There isn't a dryer, but for small loads, the drying setting in the bathroom was pretty efficient for the most part. Kind of wish we could've found another pole to put up in the bathroom so we could dry more stuff, as it looks like there's another set of hooks for another pole. The hosts are very responsive, they got back to us within minutes. We were stuck overnight in Osaka before we had to check out, but we were able to extend checkout time to 3pm for ¥10,000. Super grateful for them while we were rushing.
