Sweet country house! Greatly appreciated the breakfast goodies!

Lovely house, less than 30 minutes to Colgate. Very nice breakfast spread AND we got 2 bottles of wine for the weekend. Wish we could have enjoyed it more but we spent most of our time on campus. Seamless check-in and great hospitality. Next time will try to eat at the Horned Dorset Inn - looked lovely.

Our stay at the Creekside house was comfortable and spacious. Our host met us at our late (10pm) arrival and provided eggs, juice, milk, butter, granola, and jam to start off our stay since there isn’t a market close by. This was a thoughtful touch. The historic house is beautiful and full of books and antiques. It’s in a cluster of homes for artists. There was a tv but it wasn’t connected if you are intent on watching tv. The wifi in the house worked well. We used the house as our base for moving my son to Colgate. It’s about 25 min away but worked well. The host was generous in receiving some boxes we shipped prior to our arrival. We were traveling from cross country.

The Creekside house is a lovely, older house in a peaceful and lush setting with gracious and warm hosts.

This is a lovely restored 19th century home. Lots of attention to detail made for a pleasant stay.
