L’hôte était très réactif et nous accommodait rapidement quand il nous manquait quelque chose. Sa famille était très gentille et accueillante. Cependant, il y avait énormément de petites fourmis partout dans le logements, il fallait protéger nos bagages et la nourriture, c’est ce que nous avons le moins aimé. Autrement, le séjour s’est très bien déroulé.

Nice and confortable house located in a quite area not far from St. John. This is not the most touristc place in Antigua, but it is very convinient if you do kitesurfing as the kite beaches are about 10 minutes drive. A car rental is definitely needed , also because there are no restaurants nor grocery shops around. The kitchen is totally equipped (but buy a colander Shwan!!!), the fridge is big and the hoven works well. We never used AC nor fans so I cannot say whether they were good or not, but wifi connection was quite reliable. We enjoiyed the patio for a couple of dinners and aperos in the quiet of the evening. There are mosquitos, remember to use repellent! Shawn was very discreet and kind. Advise: consider putting a couple of shelves in the bathroom to where to place toiletries, and a drying rack for drying swimsuits and beach towels!

Affordable and cute Airbnb. The private unit is part of a house, and is located in a residential area of St. John. You will have to drive about 10 minutes to get to restaurants and grocery stores, and the closest beach is also about 15 minutes away. The main “touristy” areas and attractions are a bit of a drive as well, so you definitely need a car rental. There was good AC and wifi in the bedroom, comfy bed and pillows, and consistent hot water. The neighbours dog does bark quite a bit at night, otherwise it’s a quiet and safe area. Shawn was always very responsive and was able to provide recommendations and tips.
