Perfect family bungalow. Comfy beds, very cosy and warm. Very highly recommended.

Had a couple of nights away between Christmas and New Year, the bungalow is ideally placed as really close to the beach, so we didnt need to use the car at all after arriving which was great. Spent hours walking and fossil hunting, we found 124 fossil shark teeth and fossil shells from the red crag cliffs too. Saw a beautiful seal one evening too having a rest from the stormy seas. The weather was very windy, and we got wet in rain showers a couple of times, so the hot, powerful shower was very welcome after walking for miles, as was the coffee machine in the kitchen, the kids enjoyed making a hot chocolate to warm up.

Gorgeous location, so quiet, lovely accommodation, very neat, tidy, clean and just what you want, the main bedroom was so comfortable I’d like to get my own. Love the front door system, nothing to not like. Would love to stay again

What a fantastic beach house! John was extremely helpful in accommodating us at very short notice. The house is beautiful - peaceful location just moments from the beach, very comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and hot powerful shower. We didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to return! We had a great time staying at John’s bungalow. It’s only a couple of minutes walk to a lovely beach which was so handy, we didn’t use the car at all. The kids loved the bunk beds and exploring the bungalow. I liked how the front and back gardens were joined up and gated at the front so the kids could run around and explore and I didn’t have to worry. John’s bungalow was extremely clean, tidy and well presented, you could tell he had gone the extra mile to think about what his guests might need. The coffee machine was a hit too. John was also very friendly on messages and easy to get in touch with. I would highly recommend his place.
