Charming one bedroom suite located on private acre in Carrs Landing, Lake Country, only 500 meters to 50th Parallel Winery and Gable Beach, and 1 km to Coral Beach. Lovely views of Okanagan Lake from both the suite and yard area. The courtyard faces a beautiful garden with small red chicken house where you’ll be greeted by Laverne & Shirley. Eggs and berries provided when available. Max 2 adults and 1 child. A HIDDEN GEM nestled amongst wineries, lakes and mountains. The kitchenette includes a fridge, microwave, and sink. There is also a Kuerig coffee maker, toaster, and kettle, along with dishes and utensils. Please note, there is no range for cooking. There is a gas BBQ in the patio area, and a table in the garden for you to enjoy your meals while taking in the lake view. The bathroom has stone floors. There is a tub/shower combo and double vanity. Stocked with white bath and face towels, and all needed toiletries, including a blow dryer. The bedroom faces beautiful Okanagan Lake! You can sit in your queen size bed, under crisp white sheets and a feather duvet, enjoying a cup of coffee while taking in the serene view of the lake. The living room has seating for three with a fold down couch, a TV (with Amazon Firestick) and a large selection of videos, along with a walk-in closet off it for additional storage. Free high speed WIFI. There is no laundry use. Two kayaks for rent for $30 each for the whole day and evening. Includes life jackets and sponge roof carriers with straps. With advance notice, the kayaks can be dropped and picked up from Gable Beach at no extra charge.

We really enjoyed our visit. The view from the bedroom window was just lovely. The bed was very comfy. The bathroom was larger than anticipated and very nice. The whole unit was clean and inviting with nice decor. There is a small kitchen area not suitable for making meals but this was described in the description. The place is ideal for a mini vacation in a wonderful location. The extras were much appreciated, milk, eggs and freshly baked croissants. The friendly hens outside the door were a fun bonus and the outside area was lovely. Highly recommend for a few days away in Lake country.

Tanya's suite was a perfect cozy spot for us to both visit family in Vernon & explore local wineries. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom spacious with an excellent shower, the mini kitchen had all we needed to prepare a light breakfast (thanks for the fresh eggs from "the ladies" as we dubbed your hens & the warm flaky croissants to go with them!). The gardens are lovely with a few different seating arrangements to enjoy the view across the lake. We will definitely stay again!
Had a great stay. Accommodation was spotless and clean. Tanya was very easy to contact and flexible, as we didn't arrive until 11pm. Great host, even left us some fresh eggs and croissants:) Bed was extremely comfortable its just a shame that we were only there for 3 nights. Would liked to have stayed a bit longer. Lovely peaceful and quiet surroundings. Very nice and lovely views. Would definitely return and recommend. Thanks again.

We are located in a quiet, beautiful neighbourhood in Carrs Landing, 15 minutes from Lake Country town centre, 23 minutes to the airport, and 30 minutes north of Kelowna. The home faces Okanagan Lake and is located on a low-traffic street.
7 minute walk to 50th Parallel Winery (1 minute drive).
Located on the Scenic Sip Wine Trail. Six other wineries within 10-15 minutes: O’rourkes, Intrigue, Gray Monk, Exnihilo, Arrowleaf and Blind Tiger. Highly recommend eating at 50th Parallel and O’rourkes.
7 minute walk to Gable Beach where there is a boat launch; ideal place to put in kayaks.
15 minute walk to Coral Beach (2 min drive) where there is another boat launch, along with playground, tennis court and pier.
12 minute drive to the Okanagan Rail Trail. Bike around Wood Lake or all the way to Vernon! Highly recommended activity. Stop in Oyama and enjoy OKF grill or Pane Vino Pizzeria.
Predator Ridge hiking is a 10 minute drive (recommend Okanagan Lake Lookout Loop). Spion Kop hiking is a 10 minute drive (start at the Raven Ridge trailhead).
Predator Ridge championship golf course is a 12 minute drive.
Kangaroo Farm is a 23 minute drive.
Turtle Bay Pub, Starbucks, Beat Bakery, Tim Hortons, Norman’s Diner, Pizza Hit, Gogo Sushi, IDA, and the liquor store are a 12 minute (8.2 km) drive.
IGA and Save-on-Foods groceries are the closest markets and are located in Lake Country town centre, a 15 minute drive (12 kms).
Silver Star Ski Mountain is a 50 minute drive and Big White is a 70 minute drive. For the best cross country skiing, visit https://www.sovereignlake.com. It’s only a 45 minute drive and well worth it!
You need a car. Located 23 minutes from the airport. There is no bus.

My husband and I have 3 children, the youngest being 19. The eldest lives abroad, and we visit her as frequently as we can. We have lived in Hawaii, the Lower Mainland and for the past 18 years, beautiful Carrs Landing. As outdoor enthusiasts, this has been the perfect home to raise our family.
