The Cabin, was one of the best places my husband and I have stayed. If you are looking for a quiet getaway, where you'll be surrounded only by the noise of the river, the birds chirping and the calmness of the forest; this is the place to go!! Our pup loved the nature, the river and all the free roam he could get. We enjoyed afternoon walks and cozying up next to the fire at the river. The inside of the cabin was beautiful, cozy and really clean. We look forward to going back soon!

We loved our three day stay at the cabin- very well appointed and comfortable. Hiking around the property loop and exploring the river were daily faves, and we were lucky enough to get a slow ,rainy day to max out the coziness . Matt and Erin were helpful and gracious hosts , we already miss it and are chatting about a future return!

Matt and Erin's cabin and property were perfect for a quiet weekend getaway! We enjoyed exploring the cutout trails around the river. Their space is secluded and private, just as they describe. The cabin is cozy and tranquil, lending to a wonderful, unplugged weekend. We left feeling rejuvenated and relaxed. Matt and Erin are responsive and attending. We will definitely be back!

We had such an amazing getaway at Matt & Erin’s cabin! The cabin itself was so charming, the bed was super comfortable, and the location is absolutely idyllic. The trails down to the river are very easy to follow, but I definitely recommend hiking shoes for some of the steeper parts. Matt & Erin responded quickly when I had a question about the WiFi, and although the WiFi is understandably a little slow given the remote location, it connects easily and serves its purpose….however, we were so enamored with our surroundings that we hardly needed it. One of our days was very rainy, so we were grateful for the books, board games, and Sonos speaker provided in the cabin, it made for such a peaceful, cozy day in. Seriously can’t say enough good things about this place, even our two dogs didn’t want to get in the car to leave this morning! I will wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone, and we’ll definitely be back. Thanks Matt & Erin!

I reserved this spot for my fiancés birthday, and he loves homes with red tin roofs, so between the location, the decor and the in itself, it was perfect. We both audibly said “wow” when we walked in. It was better than we imagined it would be. And I absolutely loved the bathroom. The bed was so comfy, and rhetorical view waking up in the morning was breathtaking. I also loved the kitchen. The space was more than perfect, and we will certainly be staying there again in the future.
