Had a great stay. Nice condo and quiet. Would recommend for people who want an easy stay and quiet place

This is a company run property, not an individual host, they run multiple apartments in the same building complex. The strange thing is that there are signs everywhere in the complex that say it’s illegal to do short term rentals there (Airbnb is short term rental) which does not make you feel very welcome. The keys are far away from the building, and they seem to remotely run 40-50 different places, so with unclear instructions about finding the keys, I had to spend over an hour just on finding the keys for check in. After I checked out, host sent multiple requests to Airbnb trying to extract more money out of me. Said we broke TV when I did not even touch the tv. Is asking for payment to wash Bedsheets and towels after use. Worst Airbnb experience ever.

Overall, my stay was fine; however, the host didn’t give me the gym key at first until I asked, and was upset when she said I would have to wait a day. Then she figured out a solution thankfully. The condo complex has a working sauna in the men’s room. There were tons of cockroaches and hair left in the bathroom drain and the hallways always smelled bad (either of weed or a worse, nasty smell). Only plastic cups, bowls, etc The host is NOT willing to make special accomodations. I requested to have my stay shortened by a day so I could leave Bangkok early, and submitted a stay alteration with Airbnb. Airbnb informed me that they can do that, but they just need the hosts approval. They also told me that they tried to get ahold of the host but weren’t able to. The host lied to me over and over again and said “airbnb won’t let me alter the days of stay.” “Airbnb has rules that won’t let me change it.” Just frankly not true and I didn’t appreciate it. The stay was fine. 😐

The room is okay for 1-2 persons. Overlooking the city and near my office. So far, okay for the price so would recommend for short stay
