Selina is great if you want to meet other backpackers and have a hip and nice place to stay. I had reserved a room for two and when I was shown the first option for this, it was literally as big as a closet. I'm not one to complain easily at all, but this option for two people for the price we were paying would not have been ok. The hostess was super nice about changing our room though and we ended up getting a much bigger room, with a bathroom, for the same price. Furthermore the hotel is great and really exactly what it says to be. You know what you're getting when you book it. For me it felt a bit to industry like and I wasn't so fond of the the attitude and trendy-vibe, but that's personal. It was definitely a good option for one night and would recommend it if you want an option that you know will be in a good location, have lots of activities you can book or participate in on -site and is clean for a good value (better value I think when you book a dorm than a private).

Very fun and welcoming place. Good location, fun downstairs activity space which is great for travellers. The room was a bit small but fit the needs and the shower in the bathroom was amazing!

Clean, comfortable and really nice staff. In the best part of San Jose, close to the restaurants and night life. Mattress were comfortable and internet very good
