We had a mixed experience at this home. Upsides - roomy home, quiet location with easy access to town and great views. On the downside, there’s a clear lack of care from the property managers. The walls were incredibly scuffed and marked throughout the entire home, and paint and plaster is missing in a number of places. One of the couches was sagging and felt like it was broken inside. We weren’t left any lighters or matches to start the fire. The doona on the bed was too small for the bed. The TV is quite old, and there’s no smart functionality or even a Chromecast, so we were stuck watching a few free to air channels. On the last day a mouse ran through the kitchen - I understand there’s grassy fields and woodpiles around, but why are there no traps or bait stations left around the property? It was clear this isn’t the first time there’s been a problem, because holes inside cupboards had been blocked up with foil. Overall disappointing given the amount it cost to stay here.
