Enjoyable stay for one night! Felt like a private space for me and my husband. Highly recommend Stamford Coffee, within walking distance from the Vine. We choose this location, as we spent the evening near Cooperstown, at Ommegang Brewery. Long back mountain roads drive, but a good location to rest for the night!

Interesting concept... Take a vintage 7-room motel/tourist court-type place and update it with with Scandinavian modern appointments. We were in #6. Clean, easy check in, pretty much everything you need. Refrigerator in the room is tiny (common room at the end of the units has a regular fridge, microwave, iron, (no board) and other amenities for common use). The bed was a little low and soft for us but tolerable. No access to fresh air -- no screens on the one window or door. The AC unit is under the window but the room is small and it's right there doing its thing. The biggest problem for us was the one window has blinds but no curtain and bright lights outside. We had to hang our clothes over the blinds to give us some darkness. Lastly, Stamford is a nice village -- there is a great smoked meat store right next door, and down the block an old-timey hardware store & TP's cafe for a good breakfast. All in all, we were OK here and Julian was helpful before hand. 4 stars.
