I don’t think Johan is hosting for profit, I suspect he just loves people. The place is a gem. I was even bitter for the fact that I could only be there for one day. There was even biltong on the bedside. The coffee 👌🏾. It was so clean I even made my bed when I left just to make sure I leave it as I found it. Johan I’m really grateful.

Gorgeous little spot with phenomenal view of the ocean. Very peaceful and tranquil. Lovely little plunge pool and super clean. Friendly hosts. Thank you for lovely time and for special treat for my boyfriend's birthday. Had an overall wonderful stay.

We had a great 2 night stay at Johan's place. The view on the ocean was fantastic and Johan and his wife superb hosts.

This was a beautiful, relaxing place to stay. I would have stayed a night longer had there been vacancy, but I found another place just nearby and they were kind enough to drop me there...and then pick me up from there the next day to take me to the church I was visiting. Very kind, hospitable hosts with nice welcoming touches, e.g. there was fresh cut-up watermelon and yoghurt in the fridge, rusks and cookies in a tin. It's a quiet, peaceful place with an amazing view from the house, from the deck, and from a little landing below the pool with a couple benches overlooking the sea. That was a great place to eat a meal or drink coffee there and reflect. The walk down to the beach and along the beach is definitely worth it! If you're up for making a circuit (about 6km), I recommend going to 2nd Beach first and then walk toward First Beach (the walk up from First Beach is easier than from 2nd). All in all, a very lovely stay and I hope to stay there again in the future!
