Property was consistent with the listing. Great location, very close to Strand and Martha's cafe, walking distance from Pier Street with its many interesting shops, bars and restaraunts. Host was very friendly, helpful, and accomodating, allowing a very early initial access and late departure to suit our international flight times.

Gina & Dunham were phenomenal hosts and the home was exactly as described. Their attention to detail was top notch - it had everything we could need for a month long stay and more. Hermosa is also a great area to explore and we were literally just a few houses from the strand/beach. The only thing that would’ve made our stay better was if we could’ve stayed longer.

Gina and Dunham were amazing hosts! We’ve been traveling for the last year and this was probably the most well-equipped Airbnb we stayed in. All of the pots, pans, and utensils you could need. Beach chairs, umbrella, and towels. The washer and dryer were really useful as well. All of these amenities combined with the ability to walk to the beach in 1 minute, made this place feel like home for our month and a half stay. We miss it already!

I couldn't be happier with my vacation or the apartment! The pictures seriously don't even do it justice; it manages to somehow feel casual/beachy but also sophisticated at the same time -- with seriously charming architectural details. As it was my first AirBNB experience, first vacation in years, and first vacation alone, I was a little nervous beforehand, but, once there, I felt entirely safe and secure and just comfortably at home. Nearly everything you could possibly need or want has been anticipated and provided. (But if you need something obscure, I found that Amazon delivered to the apartment with no problem!) Gina explained, with a smile, everything about the place in person when I arrived but there's also some written instructions for reference (good if you arrive exhausted like me!) And if I had any questions, she responded to a text quickly and helpfully. As for the location, Hermosa Beach ideal! It's safe, friendly, and absolutely gorgeous and the beach is easily reachable without the need for stairs (which some other area beaches have.) There's a wealth of restaurants and shops in easy walking distance (Martha's was my favorite for breakfast/lunch) -- so I didn't even bother renting a car. The Strand makes for a scenic and easy path to tons of places and ideal to just to stroll for fun -- with lots of adorable pups to admire: in bicycle baskets, backpacks, front carriers, or just happily trotting along on a leash -- and there's nothing like breathing in that fresh sea air! Although part of me is seriously tempted to keep this little gem of an AirBNB to myself, I'd hate to have anyone else miss out on such an amazing place and great hosts.
