The apartment over the barn was BEAUTIFUL, peaceful, and quiet. We so enjoyed our stay. The apartment was very clean and had every amenity we needed. It was quite comfortable. We went for a walk down to the lake and some baby calves and their momma Cow came up to visit us, along with a pair of Sandhill Cranes. At dusk, we had a majestic owl come and land on the fence around the apartment and grace us with her presence. She then landed in the yard and stayed a while before she flew away. The barn apartment is off the beaten path, in the woods, and tranquil. It was a great place to escape from the hussle and bussle of daily life.

Had exactly what we wanted, a peaceful getaway close to home! Loved the absolute quiet, only broken by the moo of cows and quail whistling in the morning lol. If someone is looking for solitude, this is the perfect spot! Thank you

We had a great time staying at this ranch. The cows were adorable and the way the mist laid on the lake during sunrise was spectacular. Our favorite local areas were Loyce Harp mountain bike park, drive in movies, drive thru safari and Bankers Coffee and Andrew’s Coffee. We went to the Thai place that was about 7 min away 4 times during our stay.

What a fantastic setting, live oak, wildlife, quiet, and once through the entrance a paved path to the home take you around Crews Lake to another coded gate. Our last night arriving at this inner, an owl setting on the code post greeted us.
