Absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. We went on the water, enjoyed the sunset, and had an amazing time. The home is so cozy and wonderful to stay at. We will be back!

If there was a 3.5 star option, that’s what I would give this place. The location and property are amazing. The pictures don’t do it justice. It’s right on the water and the lot is huge. The upstairs is very dated, but reasonably well maintained. The downstairs is very nice and spacious with floor to ceiling window doors. The house also comes very well equipped with kayaks, games for kids, and more. We spent a lot of our time fishing. (You catch the most if you drop your line right by the dock!) There were a few issues. The first was that our entry code didn’t work. The after-hours service person responded reasonably quickly but we arrived after dark and not being able to get in immediately was very upsetting to my two young children. The second was the horrible rotten eggs smell when you run the water for any extended period of time. I know the house has a septic system but I’ve lived in a house with a septic system and it should not smell like that. The smell while showering was almost unbearable. The third issue was the grill. We were planning to grill hamburgers one night but the grill lighter is broken. We were eventually told to use the hand lighter in the kitchen but we had already made other plans and were uncomfortable doing that in any event. That said, we enjoyed our stay and would consider returning. The location and views mostly made up for the shortcomings. But this can easily be a 5-star review property with a few improvements.

The pictures do not do this place justice. So peaceful and serene. Incredibly clean. We had a great stay. And the restaurants in St. Michaels are amazing. You wont' be disappointed staying here.

The rental is a little more dated than what is shown in the pictures. The bathrooms need a bit of care as they are a bit old aren’t that efficient. The decor is as picture and what you’re paying for is the location. If you want a place that is cheaper and on the water, then this is the place for you. If you’re looking for a newer and more updated accommodation, I would recommend another property. The rental company that managed the property was great and I would recommend the company to anyone!
