Extremely cool gem in a great little small town. The home is as described in the listing and it’s cool to see the little Knick-Knacks that they have. The staircase is narrow but very usable. Comfy bed and couch to lounge on with a nice large TV. 2 air conditioner units to keep the place comfortable. Had plates, silverware, some cups, and basic items to get by. Again, a super cool place in a quiet, friendly, and safe little town. Would stay here again, thanks, Leo!

The Wooden Shoe Haus was amazing!! It was perfect for our weekend trip to Effingham and very interesting to see how they adapted it from a shoe factory. I also loved the little touches of the wooden shoes and photos and descriptions

Fantastic accomodations! We had a great time! Pleasantly surprised by the history of the house and the area around. One of those cool little places all your friends will ask about after they see all the pictures of you having a great time. Leo was easy to work with and the cost was what attracted us to begin with. We definitely got more than we were charged for. Much thanks... We will be back!
