The place is in a great location for using Lisbon’s mass transit. And there are restaurants, bars and coffee shops all around. Daniel was wonderful with suggestions and just being helpful, even carrying our luggage up the stairs. A little noisy from the two restaurants on the courtyard, but not too bad. Come to Lisbon prepared to climb stairs and hills. Only complaint we had were the towels weren’t very soft.

We had a lovely stay at Daniel's apartment. It was spotless, just as pictured and very comfortable and homely. Even with the (comfy) sofa bed set up (we were two friends) the apartment felt really spacious and we each had our own space. We didn't really cook (too many lovely places to eat to choose from) but the kitchen was well equipped, and great to have a washing machine (and AC when needed!). The location is great - It's 5 mins walk from Cais de Sodre station (up a few steps - but it is Lisbon) and everything is walkable. Its on a lovely small tree shaded square, next to a couple of friendly small bar/restaurants (with many many more options close by). That does mean there is a bit of background noise at night. It wasn't really a problem for us - there are good quality windows and shutters - but might be if you are more noise sensitive. Daniel provided some great tips on where to eat and drink nearby and responded quickly to messages, but otherwise left us to it. A great host!

Daniel was so friendly, outgoing and responsive both before getting to Lisbon and during our stay. He met us for check in and helped with bags up steps. He gave suggestions for some of his local restaurants which were very good and gave us his favorite coffee spots. The apartment is in a lively area which is quiet and peaceful during the day. We were there on a weekend so there were some fun revealers late at night which we got a kick out of. You can close windows, wooden shutters and curtains and put on the air conditioner. Overall a wonderful stay in Lisbon.

We had a wonderful time in Lisbon. This is a great place walkable to fantastic restaurants and so much the city has to offer. It was quiet and very clean. Highly recommended!!
