We've stayed at Hollow Log Estate before so we knew what to expect. A fabulous private and quiet location where attention is paid to every detail. The cottage was immaculate of course, with a fully fitted kitchen, country breakfast supplies, complimentary wine, beautifully appointed furnishings and decorations and immaculately kept grounds. The Cottage is dog friendly which is essential to us - and the thought that goes into making the property dog friendly is as perfect as the attention paid to the human visitors :) My husband and I and our two girl dogs love staying here and will be back again.

The place was really nice. We stayed at the cottage. It was truly pet friendly. The bathroom was really well done and spotless clean. Lisa & Ali went above and beyond by giving us a breakfast hamper, lovely bottle of bubbles, high chair and cot for our little one. Unfortunately we went on a really hot weekend. There was a festival going on in the town which meant we had limited options to explore Daylesford and had to stay within their property. We struggled to make the most of it as we found there wasn't enough options to sit outside at the various unique spots on the property. Only one old bench in the fenced dog area. More can be done around the property to make it easy for guests to stay outdoors as that is the key feature of this airbnb. The property is more suited for individuals/ couples with dogs rather than families with young ones. There's not much for the kids to do, but that may be the preference of the hosts, and this is just a heads up for families with little ones.

Excellent dog friendly stay with ample space for running about in an enclosed off leash area. Very easy check in and minutes from Daylesford town centre.

Just the getaway we needed as a family..great for our little girl who loved exploring the grounds and our dog absolutely had a ball very enjoyable and relaxing getaway 😊
