A 15-min walk from the MG Marg, Our hostel is located in Upper Sichey, inviting backpackers and travellers to enjoy a marvellous sunset along with the most comfortable and happening stay.

By Flight: The nearest airport is Bagdogra (IXB), at about 130 km (4.5-5 hrs drive).

By Train: The nearest railway station is New Jalpaiguri (NJP), at about 125 km (4.5-5 hr drive).

From the airport/railway station to Gangtok city:

By Taxi:
The charges for a 4-seater cab & a 6-seater cab are INR 2500-3000 & INR 3500-4000 respectively.

Alternately, shared cabs from Siliguri charge around 250 INR, (but are rather uncomfortable), and they drop you at the Deurali taxi stand. From there, take another cab to reach our hsotel (Tamang Gompa being the landmark) for INR 100.

Note: With no popular cab services operating in Sikkim, you can book single or multiple seats in a taxi through Wizzride or NE Taxi cabs (local companies) for budget-friendly transport.

By Bus:
Frequent buses run between the Siliguri SNT bus stop & Gangtok city (4-5 hr journey) @INR 180-250. The bus will drop you at SNT Gangtok, from where you can board a shared taxi for INR 20 to upper Sichey (Tamang Gompa).

By Car:
Follow the directions to Hospital Dara, Gangtok in Maps. From there, take the road towards District Court, Tamang Gumpa being the landmark. Our hostel is around 150 m from there.
