Antonio and his partner Norelvi were very friendly and communicative. The flat was in a very convenient location to get to from the airport, and it was really easy to walk to fun areas like Chueca and Malasana and culture like the Prado and Retiro. The flat was very tidy and well equipped. The only issues were there was a bit of a drain smell in the bathroom that came and went and shower pressure could have been better. However, I would definitely come back and stay.

I loved the place and the location. The only problem was that there was no AC so the place got pretty hot during the day. Opening windows at night helped a lot.

Pros: it is exactly like in the picture. Perfect for one person or a couple. Check-in was a breeze. Antonio was very responsive to all my questions before and during my stay. the apartments are right in the monumental area of Madrid, really nice. I liked the details in the place, like the Nespresso machine with capsules. Cons: once in a while during my stay there had been a persistent odor of sewage in the bathroom, really unpleasant, fortunately it had been only occasionally in three days; it is close to a busy street and if you think of sleeping with your windows open, forget it (a shame because the temperature in madrid was perfect at the time); finally, one small detail: a small waste basket in the bathroom would have helped. Overall, it was a really pleasant stay at a reasonable price for the area and I would certainly book it again if back in Madrid.
