A spacious 1st floor apartment in the lovely Sugar Hill Country Club complex which is in a great location on the West coast, although a car rental is advisable. The apartment is as described, very comfortable and everything in good working order. The ice cube dispenser on the fridge was a bonus. The spacious balcony looks out towards a swimming pool and gardens although there is another infinity pool with a bar and restaurant only a couple of minutes walk away with fantastic sea views. The gym facilities were another plus. We recommend for a peaceful stay and a mean Rum punch at the bar restaurant.

The apartment was huge and looked just as lovely as the photos. The terrace was wonderful to sit out on both for breakfast and in the evening. The kitchen was well equipped although note there is no starter pack so you need to head straight out to the supermarket which is a 5/10 minute drive or 45 minute walk. There is no air con in the lounge/kitchen but there is in the bedrooms. The main bathroom was huge with a walk-in shower as well as a bath. My only negative comment is that I really did not find the bed very comfortable. The location is very peaceful and felt very safe. The 2 swimming pools were great with plenty of sunbeds and the gardens are nice to walk through. It is a 15/20 minute walk to the beach if you cut through Store House Road - fine going down but a hike back up the hill. Beach club access was a great perk. I’d say the location isn’t ideal without a car as you have to order taxis everywhere which can be quite expensive, or do the hike back up the hill in heat!

My family had the most fantastic time at Stevens Barbados Home. The property is perfectly located within walking distance via a cut through to the beach, Steven and his team went out of there way to ensure the apartment was fully serviced during our stay. Sugar Hill is a peaceful place if you want to escape the tourist heavy areas of the island but be within easy distance of beach and great restaurants. Thank you Steven again for a lovely stay. Looking forward to returning at the nearest possible opportunity.

An absolutely great place to stay in Barbados. The apartment was excellent and the grounds of sugar hill resort stunning. A 5 minute drive to the beach and a real perk having access to the beach club at the fairmont. Highly recommend staying here if you are looking for high quality, great location.

Lovely location, facilities and beach club membership is great. You need a car to get around from this location, and you should explore the island too!
