I’ve stayed at the Amira Resort twice before & really enjoyed it. It’s usually very peaceful & the other guests are great. This stay I happened to have a really loud group of construction workers staying next to me and the host was really responsive & helpful with that. The unit & resort itself was really awesome.

When we arrived to check in, everything looked great. Went to the event that we were attending and came back. We got ready for bed and when we pulled the sheets down on one of the beds, there was a hair, which can happen, but the sheets were stained. Pulling the fitted sheet off, their was no mattress pad and there was a blood stain on that bed. Further down was a pee mark. We then checked the other bed which did have a mattress pad on it. Upon removing that, there was a pee stain about the diameter of 12 inches. We texted Jason and responded on email that we would not be staying the night because of the situation of the beds. We had to find a hotel with 2 events going on in town. Jason responded the next day with refunding most of the money but kept $76.00. Since it was dealing with blood, I felt the refund should have been a full refund. You are dealing with something that can be extremely harmful. This was my first time using airbnb and wasn't sure all the protocol.

My husband and I needed a quick getaway together and we absolutely loved our stay here! It was peaceful, quiet and the grounds were lovely. The room was clean and comfortable. It was nice to be within steps of all the amenities. Jason was extremely responsive and accommodating with anything we needed or had questions about. He always answered us within minutes which made it feel like we were a priority and important. We did not want to leave and cannot wait to bring the whole family next time, or come again as a couple. We feel like we have found a favorite getaway spot!

His video of how to get there is priceless, my teenage daughter had to come separate, so I sent her the link as well and she had some teenage slang comments about the video that I believe means something very cool, needless to say she was impressed at his creativity… there was an issue with the road into the facility and my tire getting a flat, and he was super responsive to my concerns and getting it resolved so future residents don’t have the same issue and making me feel taken care of.
