Het huis is schitterend: een historische plek in een rustige omgeving. Het is ook erg goed uitgerust - en met vele extra's die onze familie van jong tot oud erg waardeerde. Van trampoline tot piano en schaaktafel. In dit deel van Normandië is ook van alles te doen. De tips voor markten in de omgeving waren erg handig. En ook de klifkusten, oude kerken en abdijen, kunstmusea en steden zoals Rouen zijn goed te bereiken en erg de moeite waard. Kortom: grote aanrader!

We were meant to visit Helen’s place pre covid and had to cancel but it was well worth the wait. There were 9 of us, two families and children aged between 16 and 21. Helen’s place was absolutely amazing and excellent location. The grounds are so big and allowed for football, bowling and cricket. Outside you can relax under cover even if there is rain. The house is so well equipped in the kitchen and all areas including lots of board games. The beach was 30 minutes away and many locations to choose from. There was a water park nearby with many activities and also included bowling for a rainy day and the food was very reasonable 7.90 euro for drink, sandwich and crepes. We were able to visit Deauville and Trouville which are lovely towns on the coast. Further afield we had a history day and visited World War 1 and 2 areas and museums. The Pegasus Bridge and cafe, British Normandy Memorial is a must for all. I urge anyone who is looking for a beautiful place and location to stay.

Eine tolle Unterkunft, mit sehr viel Platz und sehr schön renoviert. Hélène hat immer sehr schnell und hilfreich auf unsere Fragen geantwortet und uns tolle Tipps zur Erkundung der Gegend gegeben. Gute Lage, um verschiedene schöne Orte an der Küste und Rouen zu erkunden.
