My friends and I rented out Claudia's country house for my 50th birthday and had a great stay! The house is old and lovely, well decorated in an arty/bohemian style, with a lot of character. There are 5 bedrooms upstairs in the house, each with their own modern bathroom and each decorated in a unique way. There are also 5 junior suites (bedroom/bathroom/sitting room) in a separate building attached to the main house and near the swimming pool. Most of us stayed in the main house but the outside rooms would be good for those who want more privacy or more space. Claudia formerly ran a restaurant in NYC and she cooked us a grand birthday dinner for a great price per person. Claudia is lovely, a warm and welcoming host who took good care of us - helping me obtain medication when I was sick and helping us with tips during a train strike. It sadly rained for most of our stay, so we couldn't enjoy the garden after the first night, but it was lovely and full of flowers in bloom. Recommended.

This review have to start and end with Claudia. She is more than a host, she is a chef, a guide, and an incredible help to whoever chooses to stay in her beautiful house. The house itself is perfect for bigger groups. All double rooms with their own bathrooms The kitchen was super well equipped and the indoor living areas cozy. The outdoor spaces are what really makes this house work. Lots of space to be both together and to chill by yourself with a good book. We were there to celebrate my 50th birthday with a group of close friends, and it wouldn't have been the same amazing experience if it wasn't for Claudia and her team. Claudia arranged for Rosario to make a delicious breakfast for us, and we arranged also for two dinners that Claudia cooked for us. The dinner on the evening of the party was beyond what I had dreamed. Claudia was also incredibly helpful with tons of practical stuff and I cannot recommend Claudia and her beautiful house enough. Thank you Claudia!

Claudia è stata un host incredibile, sempre gentile, sempre disponibile, pronta a risolvere qualsiasi problema o richiesta. Non solo che ci ha dato un sacco di suggerimenti validi per ristoranti nella zona, ma ci ha aiutato anche a trovare l'animatrice per i bambini. Siamo stati un gruppo molto grande e per me era la prima volta ad organizzare una vacanza simile, e per dire poco senza di Claudia non ce l'avrei fatta. Aggiungo che è una casa bellissima, vissuta e arredata con tanto stile ed eleganza. La casa è attrezzata con tutti i comfort e per lo più si arriva a piedi ovunque. La stazione dei treni è molto vicina. Sottolineo questo perché è molto adatta anche alle persone come me che non hanno la macchina e che preferiscono non essere isolati. E' stata un'esperienza estremamente positiva e stiamo pianificando di tornarci prestissimo. Stra consiglio a tutti questa meraviglia in una zona bellissima.

The property is conveniently located in the foothills of Cortona - one of the most beautiful Tuscan walled cities, and is a great starting point from which to explore the rest of the Tuscany. Accommodation in the main house is supplemented by apartments in outbuildings conveniently located across a common yard with multiple areas for lounging and dining. The common areas in the main house - kitchen, dining, living - were lovely - traditionally designed and super practical. We enjoyed cooking in the professional kitchen fully outfitted for large groups and in the BBQ area outdoors. We enjoyed dining both indoors and outdoors as well. We loved the swimming pool and the fields of sunflower view from the swimming pool area. We stayed at the property for two weeks with friends and family some of which rotated between the first and second week. Wifi across the property was great and we could work remotely without any issues. The bedrooms were air-conditioned which made our end of July stay all the more enjoyable. Claudia was an outstanding host - super understanding and caring. She arranged for the cleaning and the seamless turnover between the first and second week and shared restaurant and activities tips. We had an overall lovely stay having felt at home the whole time and will highly recommend to any one.
