Overall we enjoyed our short stay at Prawn Cottage. It's in a good location - with several options of restaurants, right by the beach, coastal walks, private parking etc. The cottage faces a large car park, but since we went a little out of season it didn't bother us too much. The beds are comfy however the main bedroom is small and the bed takes up the length of the room meaning you have to shuffle past the bed end to get to the ensuite, which become a little tiresome after a couple of days. Otherwise the house is clean and welcoming.

Lovely time away at Prawn Cottage, had read all previous reviews so knew that the property was located by the car park but this did not detract from our break, right next to the beach and lovely coastal walks. The cottage was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our short break.

This was our first holiday as a family with a new born child and two dogs in tow, as you can imagine we had our hands full and wasnt sure how we were going to manage however, our short stay at Prawn cottage was a delight. Don't be fooled by the houses slightly weathered exterior, once inside you are greeted with a very clean, light and tastfuly decorated interior with a bit of sea view to boot. We also found the house to be very well equipped to cater for infants such as, a cot, high chair and baby gates on the staircase for peace of mind. Location wise, the house being quite literally a stones frow from the beach and coastal paths. Hope Cove has plenty on offer with two great Pubs (Hope & Anchor and The Cove) two small sandy beaches and a cracking coastal walks. We highly recommend taking a pitstop at the "Beachhouse" at South Milton Sands, well know for excellent sea food. Lastly, Charlotte was a brilliant host who was quick to respond to any queries.
