Lemon tree’s house is located at Kalavarda, a small traditional village by the coastline, 16 km away from Rhodes International Airport and 30 km away from the town of Rhodes. It is an independent semi-detached apartment on the ground floor and consists of two separate double bedrooms, a spacious living room including a dining table, a fully equipped kitchen, one bathroom, a hall, and one veranda in the front. This apartment is luminous and comfortable and it can be an exceptional choice for a group of friends, a family with children, or a couple wanting to relax and enjoy nature. It is also ideal for kite-surfing lovers as it benefits from being only a 10-min walk from one of Rhodes renowned kite-surfing spots. The living room is equipped with three relaxing couches, a TV, and a dining table, while the kitchen is equipped with an oven and a hob, a fridge and freezer, a kettle, a toaster and a coffee-machine, and all the kitchen cookware and utensils. An iron table, a steam iron, a washing machine and free Wi-Fi are included. Lemon tree’s house is managed and owned by Dimos and Kiki, a couple living on an independent apartment on the first floor. Outside work, Dimos and Kiki have their own plot of land where they organically grow their own fruits and vegetables, a small treat of which you will be able to enjoy upon arrival!

Kiki est une hôte adorable, de bon conseil et très attentive au confort de ses hôtes. Son logement est impeccable, spacieux, bien équipé et confortable, au calme et bien situé pour visiter une bonne partie de l'île. Je recommande vivement !
Beautiful home in a great location. The beach is a short walk away and there is a bus stop nearby for links around the rest of the island. The family were so welcoming and happy to help with any queries and provided lots of information on things to do and see in the area. Freshly grown fruit and other food was given by the owners which was a lovely touch to a brilliant stay!
The stay was amazing, hosts were really helpful and friendly. Everyday they brought us their home grown goods wich was delicious! We could not be more thankfull!! You will find everything you need in this house, you will feel that real greek village life style which we enjoyed a lot! This place was very spacious, we found everything what’s needed in the home for a great stay. Had a parking lot, big kitchen to cook, and a nice terrace to enjoy our evenings. We never had such sincere host anywhere in the world, this was a highlight of our stay! Recommending for sure!
Kiki is not only a friendly host but also very helpfull and wolcoming. From the begining of our stay we were welcomed with many different local foods. And fruits she grew in her garden. The appartment itself was spacious and equippet with kitchentools and other handy things like some fans. It goes without saying, that I very much recommend a stay at her Lemon Tree House!
The Lemon Trees House is een leuk, vintage ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien huis. Kiki en Dimos zijn heel vriendelijk en gastvrij en voorkomend. Onze beste ervaring tot nu toe met verhuurders. Het appartement ligt aan de buitenkant van een dorp. Van hieruit is het heel goed te doen om het eiland te verkennen. Het dorp zelf heeft een minimarket en een Taverne waar het heel goed eten is. Wij hebben heel positieve ervaringen met de bewoners ervan. We raden dit appartement zeker aan!

The house is located in a green and quiet neighborhood with just a couple of other houses around.
Kalavarda is known for its traditional meat and fish taverns. The house is a 5 min walk from the central square of the village which also has a convenience store and a café/bistro. Kalavarda is ideal for those who want to combine the fresh air of a morning hike with the breeze of a walk by the coastline. An organised kite-surfing station is located just a 10 min walk away from the house.
For the history fans, Ancient Kamiros, an acropolis build in the 5th century BC, is located just 4km away.
Rhodes Island is famous for the number of traditional festivals, called "paniyiria", taking place at various villages. Here at Kalavarda, we have our own traditional "paniyiri" every year on the 24 July where you can have a taste of Greek cuisine and culture.

The house is a 3 min walk from the bus stop connecting the village to the other villages across the north Rhodes coastline, and the town of Rhodes.
For those interested in renting a car, or visiting with a car, there is free parking space on an open plot of land, just 50 meters from the house.

Lemon tree’s house is managed and owned by Dimos and Kiki, a retired couple of former primary school teacher living on an independent apartment on the first floor. Dimos and Kiki enjoy swimming and going for long walks, and have their own plot of land where they organically grow their own fruits and vegetables, a small treat of which you will be able to enjoy upon arrival!
