This is a beautifully renovated motel that is very tastefully done with cute nods to its original era. I only realized after booking this “ $129 “ a night room that it was actually going to total out almost $350 with all of the added fees when booking through airbnb for one night in the middle of winter. Even got hit with a $30 parking fee for a spot in a mostly empty lot designated specifically for the room we paid for. This place is really cute but too expensive for a nights sleep in the off season. Definitely book through their site not this app.

Loved the retro surf decor! Place was spotless and location was great - right across the street from the ocean. It is always great to find dog friendly lodging as well. Easy check in & out. What I didn't understand was after quite an expensive nights stay, why is the parking spot (which is already designated per unit) an extra $30 charge? I have never been charged for parking like that before. There is no public transportation in the area, and there is already a spot for everyone's car. Overall, a great place to stay on the seacoast. Highly recommend.
