We arrived a bit early, unfortunately Matt's cleaning person had an accident that day and Matt had to complete the cleaning process himself. We loved the area and was very peaceful. It was an easy drive for us to get to Winters and Davis where our planned activities were. Matt left us a couple of bottles of delicious wine and dropped off some fresh locally grown vegetables! The home is very roomy with all the amenities we needed. The hot tub and pool were ready for us. Would stay there again.

It's obvious to see why Matt is a superhost. Matt's care went way beyond anything I have ever experienced before at an airbnb or any rental home. He made the pool ready for us when I asked if we take a "cold plunge" in it. He purchased and delivered a bounteous basket of fresh, local veggies for us. And he even brought gorgeous tulips from a nearby farm as a special birthday gift for me. Matt's spacious and beautiful kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, and it was so fun to cook there. I would rent from Matt again in a heartbeat. Matt is not just a superhost, he's a super person!

I learned a lot through this experience. We had to leave early do to an allergic reaction my wife had to pet dander. We left 2 days early as there to pet stains on the carpet and the allergy issues. The place was clean enough but there was a used used bar of soap left in the master bathroom. Kinda gross. Also clothes left in closet and underwear left in dressers that were not ours. Weird. Matt, the host, refunded us $500 on a $1500 stay stating I should have contacted him to ensure no pets were allowed in the house. That’s my bad and it cost me $1000.00. AirBNB was zero help and I hold them equally responsible. I’ll take photos next time.

My family and I loved Matt’s place! Matt’s instructions were very clear and super easy to gain access to the unit. We wished we had been able to stay a bit longer in their unit but unfortunately we had to come back to work. Would definitely be back for staycation when the opportunity arrives.

We had a great time. The weather was beautiful, the scenery was gorgeous. The home was spacious, and we had so much fun.
