The house is completely built with Bamboo and straw, traditionally designed by the Lepcha communities with 2 rooms with double beds and attached bathrooms. The room opens up into the orange plantations. Inhabitants of the village lead a self-sustained lifestyle like most other Sikkimese do. They cultivate their own food using organic manure and live stocks are grass-fed and also fed with maize Local people in Lum, produce oranges on a large scale along with other vegetables. The food is mostly slow cooked. Chee (made from fermenting millets) and Aarack (made from Cinnamon plant) are the locally brewed liquors and are completely organic. The use of Bamboo for the construction of their homes can be seen evidently as it is a great substitute for plastic, steel and cement for housing.

The village falls centrally in the state of Sikkim that house the Lepcha community who still retain the original Lepch spirit, the stay allows you to introduce yourself to the rural ambiance of the Lepcha life after being influenced and exhausted by the pervasive modernization of the city life.
The stay reflects a calm and docile nature of the community that took years to build together.
This pristine village is secluded from the modern buzz, the village is nestled peacefully, amidst the lush greenery of forests. As the whole region of Dzongu is a declared reserve of the Lepchas, this village too, is inhabited only by the Lepchas.
The stay is secluded as the village is sparsely populated and features a lot of organic farms, traditionally built huts and orange orchards with their tangy and sharp aroma making the village come to life.
