This location is set in the middle of 225 acres of farm & ranch land on a working cattle ranch. There is a non-heated pool, basketball goal, and ping pong & billiard table for guest use. Late winter and early spring time is calving season with 40 calves arriving during this time. Its peaceful and quiet at night with no disturbing outside lights or traffic. We are 30-45 minutes from downtown Austin depending on time of day; 30 minutes from ABI Airport and Circuit of the Americas track. There is ample parking space for trailers and RV's. We also have stalls available for show animals and welcome them. There are 3 stock tanks with plentiful bass, catfish and perch. A wet weather creek is perfect for hunting arrow heads and exploring. There is a ramp for wheel chair access. King size bed is adjustable. Outdoor dining for 10 is available along with outdoor gas grill and/or traditional grill.

Staying at Leah’s was fantastic! We were able to get Ubers to Elgin and Austin, though I would recommend renting a car. The space was fantastic. The sheets were so soft and there were plenty of pillows and blankets. We got in late from the airport and were SO thankful for the basket of snacks Leah provided. The surroundings were beautiful, we loved the property’s cats, dogs, chickens, and of course, cows. Downtown Elgin was great. I loved the local vintage store! Definitely would stay here again.
We had a great time! The kids loved getting to swim in the pool, hold the chickens, pets the horses, and pick some chicken eggs for us to cook for breakfast. The master bed was super comfortable and the pullout couch was perfect for the kiddos. We can’t wait to come back.

We had a wonderful time! The pool slide was a huge hit for the kids as well as the ping pong and pool table. We loved riding the Polaris to the tanks for fishing and just driving around enjoying the beautiful land! Will def come back

The neighborhood is quiet with the nearest occupied home 1/4 mile away. It is rural farmland situated between Elgin and Manor, within reasonable commute from Austin. Elgin is home to famous BBQ restaurants.
There is no public transportation other than Uber/Lyft.

My husband Cody and I have lived on this ranch since 1993. We remodeled the old farm house, originally built in 1914, and added the guest house in 2008. We have three children ages 20, 17, and 13, that have lived here their entire lives. We originally homeschooled our children but they now attend Texas Tech University and the younger two attend a University model, Christian Academy in South Austin. I am a native Austinite and graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in accounting. I have a small tax and consulting practice and office here at home. Cody is originally from the Lubbock area and moved here after graduating from Texas Tech and UT Dallas. He is the VP Treasury for a wholesale oil distributor in Austin where he has worked for the past 25 years. We love our home and feel very blessed to have the opportunity to raise our children here. We believe it will be a blessing to our guests as well.
