Away from Waikiki but it was quiet and enjoyable

Wonderful place. The one bedroom was spacious and the full kitchen was perfect for vacationing with kids. The pools are a blast and the lagoons in the beach are equally fun. Brandon was wonderful to work with and helped us secure a place last minute for the dates we needed.

My husband and I have had several trips to the Hawaiian Islands over the last 10-15 years but this was our first stay in Ko Olina. Beautiful and family friendly!!! The resort is located on a protected lagoon which is excellent for kids. The Marriott resort has all of the amenities one could ask for. Covid precautions are in place and all of the guests seemed very compliant. We felt super safe. The one downside was the need to make specific time reservations for pool chairs/beach chairs but this is all in keeping compliant with current Covid regulations for social distancing. Room itself was clean and spacious. Loved having a kitchen as Costco is just 10 min from the resort and we saved some money on a few meals adult beverages. Will most definitely be back! This one BR condo is clean with a great 11th floor view. It comes with coffee and all the cleaning stuff (including laundry). I'd suggest you bring snorkle gear as that's not provided and there is a great lagoonfor safe snorkling at the beach. If you're reading this in covid times, social distancing is on steroids here. One per elevator (unless a family). Restaurant impossible to get it...but you can get frozen pizza in the store. You have to make a reservation for a 2 hour poolside block. But hey...it's still Hawaii! People are friendly.
