We had a lovely stay at Len & Donna's Prairie Lea Carriage House, which was very tastefully decorated and in a beautiful garden setting and neighborhood. The hosts were very responsive and gracious. The property exceeded our expectations -- we only regret not having been able to stay longer ... we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again in the future! A+++

We had a great stay at the Carriage House! It is a beautiful place and well equipped. The kitchen is awesome if you like to cook. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed being able to walk to the square for shopping and restaurants. We would definitely consider staying at the Carriage House again if we are in the area.

2nd time staying here. We will be back because we absolutely LOVE it. Len and Donna are the sweetest people you will ever meet. Lockhart is definitely a little hidden gem in Texas. The people are all so inviting and fun. Len's place is more than enough space for two people and has everything you will need, minus the groceries. But H.E.B. in town has all of that covered for you - alcohol, food, flowers, bakery, etc. The Prairie Lea Carriage House is a must if you are traveling to Austin area. So close to everything, yet a "secret garden" and space to feel like you are at home away from home. We would give it 10 starts if it allowed.
