O Michel e a Jacqueline são pessoas extraordinárias! Queridos, amorosos, disponíveis, põe-nos logo à vontade e fazem-nos sentir em casa com muita delicadeza. Sente-se o amor que têm àquela quinta e dão-nos toda a liberdade de exploração para que possamos sentir o mesmo. Cada canto é cuidado com gosto. A casa é espetacular, muito confortável e com uma envolvência única. O espaço exterior é delicioso, com uma natureza que não nos faz ter vontade de sair dali. Não é apenas um lugar para ficar a dormir; é um lugar para estar, descansar e usufruir. Adorámos a experiência! Não vejo a hora de regressar :)

Wunderschöne Unterkunft mit einem riesigen Umschwung. Michel hat uns sein Landbesitz mit einem Spaziergang durch Wald und Anbaufläche gezeigt. Viele Bäume und gemütliche ruhigen Plätze sind auf dem Anwesen verteilt. Michel hat uns spannendes über die Quinta berichtet was uns als sehr schöne Erinnerungen bleiben. Sehr empfehlungswert, verbrachten mit vier Kinder (leider nur) wenige Tage mit einem grossen Angebot an Tätigkeiten. Wunderschöner pool mit atemberaubender Aussicht und für die Kinder gab es sogar ein kleinen aufblasbaren pool welcher sie ganz schön beschäftigten ;-) Auch zu empfehlen für Anlässe und Feste.

Our group of 6 friends felt like we had landed in paradise when we arrived at la quinta. It is enchanting. Michel and Jacqueline gave us a warm welcome tour of their hillside terraced with plots of vegetables, grape vines, citrus trees, and private-feeling nooks and crannies in the nature. We were invited to feel at home, roam freely, and help ourselves to the oranges, lemons, and herbs. The pool is on the highest terrace, crystal clear, feels like an infinity pool overlooking the beautiful valley. Above the quinta is a forested area with trails connecting to other quintas, including leading over the hill to a beautiful sunset view of the douro river. The home feels rustic with many touches of its history including the original stone walls, but it has been renovated with modern comforts. Our hosts also provided supplies for badminton, ping pong, pitanque. Finally, we loved the pontoon tour with Paulo- highly recommend!
