We really loved our stay at Grecia’s gem. The house is well situated in a safe and quiet neighbourhood and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. The wifi is excellent. The host David is very proactive and quick to respond to any query. We only have good things to say about him. The people that help him maintain the property are very nice and they do a great job. The outdoor area is beautiful and the roof terrace has a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains and of Alajuela and San José at night. It is within walking distance of a grocery store, a small bakery, a butcher shop and a few other stores. We didn’t have a car for most of our stay and we didn’t miss it. It’s only a few dollars to get to and from Grecia’s city center (taxis, Uber). Grecia has many nice restaurants and cafes; we didn’t try them all but we probably came close. 🙂 Not one bad experience to report. We highly recommend this property for a comfortable stay to discover the area.

This home was absolutely beautiful. A modern/contemporary style home with open air concept and a beautiful backyard. Star fruit, cas, and a type of orange tree, I was able to pick fresh fruit and make smoothies everyday. Backyard is very active with hummingbirds, butterflies and other birds that visit daily. We spent a lot of time on the patio. There is a roof top deck for spectacular night time views. The neighborhood is nice, we were there over the weekend and it seemed as if on Sunday it really came to life with people working in their yards, music playing, children in the park across the street. There is a Pali market & other stores within walking distance, it may not be a walk for all as it is on an incline. Kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook a meal, modern appliances, Ninja blender, a refrigerator with an ice maker, filtered Brita water pitcher, etc. The home was very clean and well maintained. David is an excellent host and very helpful.

We stayed in this house for three weeks. We did not have a car. There is a super market and bus stop ten minute walk from house. We also took Ubers from there that we’re easy and cheap. The kitchen is extremely well stocked and we prepared food easily. The internet worked well and the TVs even had Netflix. The neighborhood is lovely and quiet-of course there are some dogs barking at times but not too often. This is a great house to spend time

We had a wonderful stay! The home has lots of great surprises like the rooftop terrace, backyard bar, fruit trees and lots of pillows/throws. David was very helpful throughout our 2 weeks. There is a grocery store, panadería, fast food and bus stop within a 10 minute walk. The town center is a quick Uber ride away. Beds are comfortable, there is ample room for a family and the WiFi was good enough for Zoom & my son's video games (best downstairs). It's an amazing value, You'll love it!
