We really enjoyed our stay at Alexandre’s place. This flat is what Airbnb used to be all about: someone sharing their home with you. As such, the apartment is more vintage and complete with the family’s belongings. The view was absolutely outstanding. Although it was a high floor, there is an elevator that worked perfectly. Alexandre’s son was there to check us in and was very kind. The location is extremely central. The shower is a little tight if you’re tall, but we had no issue. Would highly recommend!

Alex was an exemplary host; always available and responsive to our questions and needs. The unit was tastefully furnished and the view spectacular. The unit is located in the heart of Chiado— lots of fabulous restaurants and.things to see and do. I look forward to returning to Portugal and staying in Alex’s unit again.

Had a lovely stay, the elevator broke the day before and lugging bags up so many flights of stairs was r o u g h but Alexandre was very hospitable and kind and I hope it gets fixed soon!

Alex was an incredible host and his home was a dream. He met us at check in and helped us up with our bags (the elevator was down when we were there, so if you are counting on that definitely make sure it's working when you are there). He left wine, pastries, and eggs for breakfast plus so many recommendations. It was the warmest welcome we could imagine and set the tone for the greatest stay. So many helpful suggestions from him and his son and the guidebook. The view is breathtaking. This is an incredibly special place to stay.

We loved this place! Alex was a great host and the flat was in a great location. I will definitely recommend this place to friends visiting Lisbon and will stay here again if we come back to Lisbon.
