Rural area, but only 1 km from the village, which has a restaurant, mini market, bakery, basketball and tennis courts, playing area for children etc.
Popular places to visit nearby include Dax center at 8 km famous for its thermal spas, (food market on Saturdays,) Peyrehorade at 16 km for the wednesday market, Salies-de-Bearn at 34 km. Beaches - Port d'Albret, Vieux Boucau at 35 km, Hossegor and Seignosse beach are only 36 km
There is plenty of parking space at the villa and parking in the village is free.
Only 6 km from Port Sud, Dax, which has all the amenities.
The Villa is isolated from other properties on quiet country road, but is within walking distance to all amenities in the village, such as mini market, restaurant, bakers etc. Village 1km.

There are lots of parking spaces at the villa, a car is a must to stay here.
Dax center is 8km, nearest large supermarket complex is 6km, nearest pharmacy is 5km but if shopping, there is one in the supermarket complex at St. Pandelon. Nearest doctor is 1km. Nearest hospital is 9km in Dax. There are large freshwater lakes, my favourite is the White lake ( L'Etang Blanc ) at 31 km, Beaches Port d'Albret, Vieux Boucau at 35 km, ( Super place for the children with the lake and also the beach with its waves ) Hossegor/Seignosse beach only 36 km.
If you like birds, try going to Rivière-Saas-et-Gourby, only 8 km from the Villa and look at the enormous storks above the railway lines where they have taken up residence,
but also there is a possibility they will fly over the Villa and land on the Barthes next to us to eat the frogs & crayfish.
