My husband, I, and our two dogs stayed at the Blackjack cabin for our one year anniversary. We could not have asked for a more amazing trip! The cabin was adorable! It was clean, comfy and had everything we needed to be comfortable for our weekend getaway. The location was perfect! It was very private and peaceful, yet not far from everything we wanted to do!! Highly recommend!!

There were bed bugs and I woke up with bites so we left early. We didn’t see the actual bugs so management at first wouldn’t give a refund, claiming the bites were from fleas on our dogs (untrue). It took 2 days for housekeeping to come in and find evidence of bed bugs, at which point we did get a refund. This will cover cost of items we threw away, but not treatment for our house if we bring bugs home—so far no sign of them. Management mentioned closing the cabin for several days for bed bug treatment which is reassuring. If not for this issue the cabin would have been fine. We booked specifically for the sauna but it didn’t get as hot as my husband expected (150 degrees F), so we might have booked somewhere different or used the separate sauna pods on the property if we knew that beforehand.
