Great cabin, very peaceful and great surroundings. Everything was great and as described. Only downfall were the residents two cabins down, cabin 4 I believe. Their dogs ran up on the kids multiple times barking and even ended up on our porch barking at the children. Not sure if all the cabins have the same rules but no pets means no pets. The host made that very clear so not really their fault but it was to the point of being very frustrated every time we took the kids down to creek or walking. I guess it wouldn’t have been so bad if the owners would’ve kept them on a leash after the first time. But they didn’t, it was the same excuse every time it happened. They were sorry and didn’t think anyone would be out walking while they had the dogs out. Again, the host can’t control what guests do in real time, the pet policy was very clear and parents have the right to protect their children from harm.

The cabin was exactly what was expected. The location was beautiful. Sitting on the balcony listening to the creek and watching the birds was relaxing.
